mdi Express Maxi Kit is a very high speed, hands on system (No waiting time) to obtain high yield (up to 750µg), high concentration of high purity pDNA from bacterial cultures. This kit provides high yields of pure DNA, predominantly in supercoiled form.
DNA Purity pDNA purified with mdi Express Maxi Kit exhibits an A260/ A280 ratio of 1.8-2.0 in 10mM Tris-Cl, pH 8.5.
The mdi Express Maxi system makes use of the convenient filtration devices, vacuum systems and precipitator columns to offer high purity pDNA in < 1 hour from start to finish. The bound DNA is eluted in small volumes (50-300µl) of very low salt concentration buffer, to achieve >1µg/µl of pure plasmid DNA.
